Building a Brand System from Scratch
I was approached by the office of our Chairman to create a robust brand for the Commonwealth Study Conferences. CSC was founded in 1956 by Prince Philip to explore the intersection of business success and community development. They had a logo and a few bits of incoherent branded material, but no guidelines, templates or frameworks in place.
Given only a short brief and a handful of inconsistent legacy materials, I designed a complete, cohesive brand system for this international leadership programme – bringing order and consistency where none existed before.
Brand, including logo, designed by me. Guidelines and assets built by my team under my authorship and art direction. Website built by a colleague using my guidelines.
